Wing Lift Carrot Box Loader
Our Winglift Box Loader is designed to load carrot crops while reducing tuber damage and stem cracking. By angling the boxes, the trailer allows the crop to glide down the inside of the box so each box can be filled to its maximum capacity.
Although originally developed for carrots, the Winglift concept also works extremely well with potato crops. The top and side of the loader are covered in 50 mm of foam to further reduce damage to the crop.

Guardian HCS Box Loader Overview
The Guardian HCS Box Loader is the natural progression from the original Guardian Potato Box Loader by Larrington Trailers. While the concept came about when developing a system to handle cabbages, the HCS platform is capable of handling multiple crops with ease, allowing you to load directly from the harvester into boxes.
- Soft cushioned top: A thick layer of protective foam across the top surface helps eliminate the excess damage usually caused when loading into a conventional trailer.
- Patented Cushion Lock system: Cushion locks, originally built with cabbages in mind but developed to handle a wide range of crops, ensure the crop is distributed in a controlled and gentle way into the boxes below.
- Easy unloading: Once the full length of the top is filled, the box loader is taken back to the farm where the top frame is lifted to fill the boxes. An electric hydraulic system in the tractor cab gives the driver full control over the lift speed and loading of the boxes.
Winglift & Guardian Box Loader Range
Our Winglift Box Loader is designed to load carrot crops while reducing tuber damage and stem cracking. By angling the boxes, the trailer allows the crop to glide down the inside of the box, with each box loaded individually so it can be filled to maximum capacity.
Although this trailer was originally designed with carrots in mind, its effectiveness is not limited to carrot crops and it works just as well with potato crops. The Winglift Box Loader has proved very popular in Poland and other overseas markets, where an additional operator on the harvester often controls the elevator from the side of the machine to maximise box fill and minimise waste. The top and side of this loader are covered in 50 mm of foam, reducing damage to the crop.
The Guardian Box Loader by Larrington Trailers perfectly completes the chain of tasks carried out by high-value harvesting and storage equipment. Instead of dropping your crop into the bottom of a wooden box, the Guardian Loader with its 50 mm cushioned top receives the crop gently and allows it to transfer into the waiting box with ease.
- The transfer chute stays closed until around 25 kg, then gently pushes the cushioned rollers open so the crop slides down into the box.
- Loaded like a standard trailer, helping to avoid elevator damage when an elevator catches on a box.
- Safer for the driver and harvester, reducing the risk of costly elevator repairs.
- Once back in the store, the top section can be raised slowly and gently to finish loading the boxes.
