With much of the world transporting potatoes long distance using ‘Big Bags’, a Big Bag Loader was a natural progression from the Guardian Box Loader.
Simplicity and ease of use have always been at the forefront of our designs, and our Big Bag Loader is no different. Unlike alternative brands, we have kept our hydraulics simple, and reduced mechanical parts while using components which our customers can easily source wherever they are.
Cushioned Top
Just like our Guardian Box Loaders, the Big Bag Loader is fitted with a cushioned top to gently receive the crop from the elevator.
Camera System.
To ensure the driver can keep an eye on what’s going, the Big Bag Loader is fitted with a camera system that feeds to a monitor (supplied with the trailer) in the tractor cab.
Simple Bag Release System
The bags are loaded by opening the cushioned floor section, allowing potatoes to gently flow down, before raising the top frame/hopper to complete the load. When done, the bags are lowered on to the floor, the articulated hooks release the bags and the driver can simply pull forward leaving the bags in place, ready to be loaded for transport.
Safety First
When pulling forward to release the bags, an prop is automatically engaged to ensure it is safe for the next lot of bags to be hooked up for loading. Closing the gates, automatically releases the prop so you can begin the next load.
Easily Serviceable with Minimal Downtime.
The heavy duty build quality and simplicity of the design mean our customers aren’t likely to ever face any issues, but the use of easily sourced and commonly stocked parts ensure minimal down-time no matter where you are.
